Hello everyone,
I haven't posted in a while, but need some input. I have the Tamron 28-75 2.8 and it's not nailing focus any longer. This is tested on the K-01 and the KP. Previously, it worked well and produced good results.
Any options / suggestions for this repaired? Would it be worth it? DIY? ! called one repair center nearby (which previously did warranty work for Pentax) and they said they don't look at Tamron. The lens is out of warranty.

Looking at the Flickr data for all Pentax camera, can't seem to find the K-01.
What's happening? - K-01 users don't upload?
- K-01 doesn't exist (or has a different name)? Or,
- K-01 isn't a Pentax camera? :)

On my previous camera (Olympus e-pl2) there was a dedicated fill-in flash mode. Is this available on e K-01? - maybe under a different name (I can't find it)?
If not, how do I set the flash so that it emulates the fill-in functionality?

I know how Tav works ... I was looking for something different.
Thinking of the situation where:
I control aperture, while the camera controls shutter and ISO ... without going lower than a specified shutter speed nor higher than the given ISO.
WIth tav, I still control the shutter manually.
My gut feeling is that it can't be done.
Or am I missing something?

Can this be done? I find that the camera defaults to 1/30th, then adjusts the ISO. Is there some setting that I can tell it what's the minimum shutter speed to use in Av mode (sort of how we tell it what's the max ISO to go to)?

Exact same situation here. Pure BS. Been promised many times over that it would not be cancelled. I held out - letting all the other sales slip by - and now the yellow with 40MM can't be found. I think Amazon wilfully watched the stocks deplete at its other competitors while still promising to fulfill our orders, then when they were all gone - BOOM, all ordered cancelled. What cane we do? Want to team up? ;)

So what's the latest with the Amazon orders?
Is anyone still getting their's filled? I orderd on January 13th. Was initially promised a March 25th delivery. This got pushed to April 9th. Item never delivered. I called the night before the 9th and was assured that the order was authorized and it will be delivered as promised on the 9th. Called back last evening and was told "Don't you know your ietm is back-ordered? ... we cannot give you an estimated delivery date!" .. some BS happeining there :) I keep holding out as it was the last best deal with the 40mm lens.
SO what's the latest ordered date that was filled so far?

I ordered January 13th. Shipping window ended February 22nd. As of now, no new expected delivery timeframe ...
I think we're SOL!
Too bad didn't take up the Bootiq 30% offer :(
