Hi guys, thank you for your replies, that is very helpful information. I see your point Sagitta, I have actually played around a bit more with smaller apertures with better results, at times I do like the bloom & some times surprisingly it's not there at all which makes me think it is probably my fault for using a large aperture.
does the the split focusing screen cause any problem for the auto focus?
this one is an f/2 Thank you.
