I don't know about my best photo but this is my best recent photo of one of my favourite subjects. The skeletal remains of the once finest pier anywhere, the West Pier in Brighton, England captured at sunset. A tough latter life of neglect, arson and the elements have transformed it into an enigmatic sculptural form: |

I took this photo in Langebaan on the west coast of South Africa. It is a magic location and very popular with tourists. I spotted this shipwreck a while back and it is only a 5 minute drive away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. Not many people are aware of it but I was so happy to photograph it. I made use of a Lee Filters 0.9 ND filter + 0.9 ND Grad to get the milky effect on the water. Setting on my K-5 were: ISO 100, 8secs, f/16 with a 18mm focal length. Really hope it stands a chance!
