I purchased this lens from a forum member just a few days prior this shot. Lucky me! While sitting in my car waiting for my wife to finish her shopping, I noticed this tree in the parking lot, of all places. That's US Interstate 84 in the background, and a rising mountain just west of the Delaware river, the start of the Pocono Mountains! The colors and bokeh rendered from the Super Takumar 135mm lens are stunning to me. This photo hangs on my wall, 16x20 canvas. Using manual focus and the green line button for exposure slows me down just enough to think about my shot. I am hoping to give this lens a try on the Spotmatic for some added fun with FILM!
Thanks for looking and best of luck to all entries.
Happy 2017 and keep shooting!

I tried adding it to my cart this morning as well, thinking I scored big. After my coffee its time to go cut the lawn and forget about the one that got away! Sad... maybe even a bit cruel!

The brilliance of this shot will only show in a large print, in my honest opinion. Anything less will be glanced over. Wonderful composition.

I found that viewing my photos in black and white helps me to best determine exposure, contrast, sharpness and composition before advanced edits. Switching back to color, I again watch for distracting colors that might pull the eye from the subject. I can then desaturate and eliminate further distractions.
Lastly, I evaluate if B&W is an actual improvement.

I always love Photouniverse youtubes - and it is like fire side chatter, his opinion, and I do respect that even if I don't always agree... I can see his point. The humor in it all, I enjoyed the story of the wedding photographer using the bounce flash off the clouds, making good money bouncing the flash off the clouds. LOL
Ed, keep on making Pentax comments on youtube. I have a K5 and a K3, a Metz AF58-2, stroboframe mostly because of YOU... and I love the Pentax system. Like you say it can be love / hate as we sink more and more money into the name. I just purchased the DA*300 for bird photography so I think that alone gives me the right to go off on a rant now and then, as we all do!
...peace
