Super Takumar 50mm f1.4 (8 elements) a Jewel used by others but Pentaxians, why?

I use the 1.4 on my sony Nex F3. I enjoy having the extra effort to balance the focus and lighting. Then i can compare with my other 50 or 55mm lenses and see if i can give a neutral opinion as to which lens is the very best. All are good and give the enjoyment that they were made to give.

Thanks,i think you are right there,though i did come across a group of experts who thought the whole fungus thing was blown out of proportion altogether,but think i will play safe :)

Amazing what these get up to. Here in Ireland,we get this wasp who builds his nest from regurgitated wood pulp,which is really paper to us. They make their nests in my kids playhouse which is a pity as the children wont use it with them there. The Japanese emperor used to eat the produce of these workers who spend their entire lives keeping the population of insects down,by eating them and regurgitating the larvae back at the hive,regards
