I also like the bokeh his lens can produce. It was this thread and other on the forum that made me buy this lens when a got a chance for a decent price.
Many nice images in this thread!

I visited a place with butterflies and other animals. I brought my newly purchased Cosina 55mm 1:1.2 and thought to share with you a picture that was pretty good I think.
I have not much experience in photography but think it's really fun and hope to get better.
Please give constructive criticism and opinions.
Thanks :)
Daniel
ps: I think this was at 1.2 but maybe it was set betwen 1.2 and 2 just dont remember...

Hi all!
I was on flee market this sunday and stumbled across a pentax super me with lens in good condition with manual and sturdy box.
The lens is Kiron 105mm f/2.8 number: 60703010. The women that sold it said it belonged to their father/husband who got it from a dentist company here in Sweden.
I asked for the price for this kit (even an old macro flash was included) and they told me 25 dollar - i took it! :)
Havent done any hardcore macro yet but tried it out a bit and really enjoyed this lens so far.
A few in camera pp jpegs with K-5
Cat: Got to much light in the camera, just took some brightness down and kind of like this look
The fluffy toy thing is also a self-portrait
The buddah from my garden often get my lenses attention.

Thanks for fast responses and suggestions.
Cheap price is a plus but compared to the lens price its still relatively inexpensive protection for the lens.
Ive have search the forum and seen this stepdown + short hood solution several uses. On another site i saw a solution that looks good but is not sure it's the same product I linked to above.
At a glance it looks like a pretty slick solution but am not sure...

Hi all!
Im buying FA31 and want to ad protection and shade for the lens (am shooting k5). I wonder if this hood will fit inside the built in one, Heliopan 58mm metal lens hood (short) Heliopan 58mm Metal Lens Hood (Short) 73058H B&H Photo Video
Anyone with this constellation on their FA31?
