Here's another upshot. This camera uses the same battery of my old Olympus waterproof camera. The Pentax D-LI92 is identical to Olympus's LI-50B. So if you are somewhere that doesn't have the Pentax version, just get the Olympus or Lenmar (DLO50B) and it will work perfectly.
That saved me money on chargers and batteries. This is handy, because using an Eye-Fi card reduces the shots per charge. They Eye-Fi is using power to transmit the photos to my Galaxy Note II. A price I'm willing to pay for the ability to upload photos to Facebook or Flickr and such.

Hi,
Here are some pics from this morning at the Hale Koa Hotel swimming pool. I got some above water and underwater shots. I'm impressed with its performance. It does have a slight shutter lag. However, with all digital compacts, you will always have this.
Enjoy!
Tim
P.S. I couldn't upload full size pics. Sorry.

I just got a WG-3 GPS the other day. I haven't tried it yet underwater. Maybe this week. When you get here to Hawaii, I highly recommend Hanauma Bay Beach Park. It costs $7.50 per person for non-residents and you have to watch a 10 minute video, but it was worth it. One thing to keep in mind is that it is closed on Tuesdays for cleaning.

I just bought mine a couple days ago. As soon as I get some underwater shots I'll post them. The practice shots I've taken so far look pretty good.
