Here's a photo from the found film... I did up the contrast a little in Rawtherapee.
Pentax MX, M40/2.8, "Kodak Safety Film" shot at iso 100, processed xtol (as plus-x, 8 min) and scanned Pakon F135 (non-plus)

And some more... Not edited at all, just to get an idea of the film.
Pentax MX, M40/2.8, "Kodak Safety Film" shot at iso 100, processed xtol (as plus-x, 8 min) and negative scanned Pakon F135 (non-plus)
Prints nicely in the darkroom - using expired Agfa paper at the moment.
Shooting next roll at 80 I think? Though 100 seems to work. I just like to mess with things it seems!

Thanks!
And no emulsion number... had expected something, but it's just safety film... Have loaded maybe 8 rolls so far. More than expected.
Having fun with film again.

Just glad I hadn't bought it new! Great lens, but... not much usage these days. Using primes when I use the 645 - which isn't often. I remember when I thought my ES and a few lenses (35,55,135) would be all I would need for life... Hmm... And it seems that people with the 645 digital stuff probably have the money for the AF lenses, leaving these gems for the bargain bin. Actually... I would never have had the pleasure of using such equipment had it retained value better! Trash vs treasure perspective.
Oh, and... it's sold...

Walk! Run! Move!
I noticed that as I used zooms more and more, I tended to see what might be an interesting photo and then zoom to what seemed decent enough. Makes sense?
When using primes though, I might have an idea, but from my current position, it often isn't going to work. Knowing that I have to move to get anything close to what I want, I look for best position and angle, and taking this extra time makes a difference. My results are better.
Yes, I realize I could do the same thing with the zoom, but... using a prime makes me take more time and think about what I am doing.... Convenience is sometimes a hinderance to quality....
That said, uhm... that 55-300 sure looks nice! Mmmm....

Also depends on the lens - on shorter focal lengths it covers more of the focus range. For longer - MF in general range and the TC does the fine auto focus. It is a strange feeling having AF with my old M lenses...

Fill the... Full of what? I'm having trouble digesting this full-frame stuff...
Of course when thinking about filling the frame, I have to shoot with the Q!
On a side note.... some of these can be found in the marketplace.... uhm... not really.... Ok, the ones at the top?
