I have an idea, but I don't know how explain it. So I do this image:

The Quantum batterys are small and it can be clipped to belt
Meaby the Quantum batterys have not an AC plugin, I don't know. Meaby we need another battery... but this is the idea.

Q7 is the best Q camera. The NX1000 is the worst NX camera.
Q7 is new. NX1000 is old.
The NX lenses are huge (big) and heavy compared to Q lenses.
Probably the NX1000 have less noise for the APS-C Sensor.
The NX have more bokeh, good for protraits and newstyle streetshoots.
The Q7 have more deep to field, good for landscape and oldstyle streetshoots.

Well... the Q7 was anounced today, and everyone like it, but it haven't any of the seven most important things we want:
No 1/13s limitation with electronic shutter
Weather sealing
Articulated screen
A second dial (Wheel)
EVF in body
A bigger battery
WiFi
So... Q7 it's not what we want... but we liked too!

I love the cool (ice) sensation in my hand when a take my original Q of magnisium alloy. I know, magnisium alloy without wheather sealing is more size and cost "for nothing"... but I like it!

The Q will have a better sensor of 1/1.7" (pro point&shoot size). So probably the Q7 will be the sucessor of Q.
What features you want to add to the Q7?
I want a "Pro Q". A camera for work, but smaller, lighter and smarter than a DSLR.
I want see five things in Q7:
EVF in body (for use a flash in hotshoe)
Battery Grip (for 2 or 4 batterys and better ergonomy)
Articulated screen
Microphone input
+ FPS

You need to get closer to the stage. If you can access to the VIP area under the stage much better!
Or buy the 06 Telephoto Zoom.
