Litepanels were turned to daylight as the stage director pointed, I felt it all went well, and they were very pleased with the photos outcome.
I fixed the iso value at 400 so I may anticipate any movement blur, pictures were then worked in lightroom 5.1, I increased contrast, applied some noise reduction then some sharpening, tweeked some shadow, white, black, and decreased highlights, and here are the results.
I think they are pleasing to the eye.

Hello all,
I recently sold my k-01 and got myself a k5-ii a spare battery and a battery grip. Already upgraded the firmware to 1.04 and hopefully will get used to using this great camera. I already took few photos with it and i am liking what i get.
I have the opportunity to shoot next week in a TV studio as a sole photographer.
It is a cooking show. The chef saw few photos i shot and invited me to take photos of his dishes and some portraits of him during the show.
I am seeking for advice on what is the best combination of equipment and setting i may use, if anyone has some to give me before i pack and set my camera for the event I would really appreciate it.
I will be shooting during the show, and after.
My gear consists of:
- k5-ii
- Tamron 17-50 mm f 2.8
-Tamron 18-200 mm f/3.5-6.3 (if) macro
-Sigma 70-300 mm f 4-5.6 DG macro
- 2 yongnuo wireless flash trigger
- Zeikos ZE-fl70 flash i usually use in manual mode
-An old Kako 300SD Twin flash i also use on manual mode with the wireless flash trigger.

I like those shots Larry,
In the first shot, I like the silouette in the background, the composition and the depth, strangely it is almost 3d to me...
The second one is a typical street shot, very good contrasting subjects in all means, just great... but cannot find a single shadow! At what time of the day did you take this pic? Was it overcast sky?

I have been using a 16 gb micro SD class 10 with an adapter on the Q for 2 months now, did not face any problem so far
though sometimes on the k01 while using a 32 gb micro SD class 10 the card fails to write the picture so I have to open and close the card door for it to work again.

Pentax Q + Q to K converter + K to FD converter + canon FD 200 1:4
the K to FD converter has a glass element in it so I think that the result directly with a Q to FD converter will be better than this one.
I order the Q to FD converter and will post newer photos when the converter arrives.
The first photo shot at f=4
The second shot at f= 6.8 (I think) it is one click between 5.6 and 8
pp in LR 4.4
exposure increased 1/3
CONTRAST +10
Blacks -7
Sharpening 50
pictures of the system shot by galaxy note.
kindly add to lenses data base at the top :)
