Hi. Just to say thanks, the 60-250 lens is perfect, condition and delivery were faultless, and got to use it at the zoo in France! It's a learning curve for sure. Steve.

here is my entry for round two of the K-3 competition. "Natural Symmetry"
i've recently been taking shots of the butterflies on the wetlands next to my house, there's a patch of bee orchids amongst the grass where common blue butterflies have been living. ringlets have been there in large numbers too, with some mating in the morning. i love the way they sit side by side then slowly rotate away from each other to mate. Ringlets are a bit drab however, and the butterflies also have no interest in the orchids.
Having given up on the idea of my butterfly on an orchid shot, i walked my dog through there and he disturbed a pair of large skippers mating in the grass, which took off and landed clumsily on the nearest perch, they stayed on the orchid for a minute or so until the dog ran through again and they vanished.
(lightly processed in lightroom, i like photography not photoshopping!)

Thanks mantax. That's the whole frame, no cropping. I have others with all the body but they lose the motion and charm, they seem more comedy!
