Of course, it's Yellow Nikon :) Average sky hue readouts : 212 degrees Adobe Standard, 201 degrees Nikon. For blues this difference isn't subtle, similar effect I has from Fuji- especially "digital" :) Astia & Velvia.
Embedded profile (220 degrees) for comparison. |

Some DNG profiles for K-5 (Standard, Neutral, Portrait, Landscape and Vivid) available for download.
Created by Adobe for the Nikon D7000 - same sensor as K-5. So if the firmware do not disturbs, image from K-5 should be look like raw from D7000 developed in CaptureNX. Is it good? I like it :) In the future maybe I will try to mimic native Pentax look, but this idea is a big time-consumer- it's no way to create accurate profile from scratch with small colorchart. Latest Adobe Camera profiles contains deltas of 23 040 colours- not of 18 patches :). So this time let's stay with original Adobe product.
While "camera-crossing" earlier versions profiles was very easy, in v4 (DNG 1.4) case it's a bit more complicated, there was some new tags and forward matrix seems to be otherwise calculated.
Why not previous, simpler versions ? Apart from the curiosity- v4 includes bigger (90x16x16) LUT table then it should be better mimic the CaptureNX with different exposures. Of course profiles are bigger- aprox. 271KB instead 108KB or 55KB (earlier versions).
If I understand properly Nikon explains-Portrait profile is based on Portra film look, Landscape on Velvia.
Please note not only Adobe Lr/ACR excellent supports DNG profiles, see also Zoner Pro Download Nikon styles for Pentax K-5
Example of use (same raw image from K-5 without color corrections)
