Nice looking, I watched the Youtube video. I'm not sure i get it, it didn't seem like either camera did that well but I'm new to not digital photography, but DSLR & mirror-less cameras

LCD SCREEN Viewfinder EXTENDER- Hi all- Has anyone had any experience trying these in-expensive viewfinder extenders from China?
I need something to use in the bright sun to frame my shots, I'm not shooting in the bright sun that often so I don't want to spend a chunk of money, I just want something cheap to use that once or twice a year that I might need it.
I just don't know which one to try , they all say for Nikon certain models or Canon certain models, the most well known cameras by the general public.

This was a very good article. Very informative and interesting for a beginner like myself. Serendipity as I have been playing with and old Pentax SMC 50mm Prime lens and I immediately noticed most o the qualities mentioned here. I don't know if that lens would be considered one to try in this setting but it was a great learning experience for me and this timely article fits so well with that. Thanks Thomas Beginner Portrait Lens Guide - Pentax Tutorial Videos - PentaxForums.com

...and I think the biggest reason is that I can use my K and PK lenses from my Pentax film years. I've had a lot of pint and shot cameras with nice optical lenses and zooms but I stuck with film a lot longer than most probably for two reason, having to buy all new lenses. Talking about having to buy all new stuff have any of you tried using a hot shoe to hot shoe voltage reducer to safely use film camera flashes with a digital camera. I've been useing one for a short while with no problems but I'd like to hear other experiances- Thanks Thomas

Hi- Just joining, biought my first mirrorless Camera and a few months later they discontinue. I guess you either love 'em or hate 'em. I love 'em. The only good thing is that I got a good price, but if anything goes wrong with it during my Squaretrade warranty period, Squaretrade will just give me the sale price of the camera, they'll never fix it. Wow. a new member and already whiing! lol!....and it was in my favorite color too!
Nice meeting everyone!
