Thanks for the welcome Asama. The birding here is pretty good. I like raptors too especially the Osprey. I haven't managed to get any Owls yet. I also like the small colourful birds like the Robins, Fairy-wrens and Bee-eaters. I live in the suburbs so have to travel a little to certain spots for birding. It must be nice to have them all in your backyard :)

Hi guys,
Absolutely love the clarity and detail that the K-3 gives me for my birding photos.
The first one is the photo as it was taken and the second is a near 100% crop of the first.
In case anyone is curious this is a female White-winged Fairy-wren. They are very small and fast :D

Thought I would introduce myself as I haven't posted on here before.
I am an enthusiastic photographer who absolutely loves birding and landscapes.
I live in Perth Western Australia and have been looking at your forum for a while.
I love the reviews you post as well as the user reviews.
Just bought a K-3 in November and am absolutely loving it :D
