I always brush my teeth before retiring for the evening. That might be taking into account my own self-interest before the next morning (I never said that), but I always have and always do.
One should not make inferences from a long history of internet postings.
In point of fact, I was enlisted by a young lady one Sunday morning to transport such an example of juvenile malehood from a dark corner in her sorority house to his apparent point of origin. I threw him in the back of my 1967 Volkswagen Squareback. Something came out of every orifice on his body, including his ears. My car was never the same.
I did once awaken on the floor of a sorority house snuzzled up to the derriere of one of its members. But it doesn't count because the sun had not yet come up. That's what she said, anyway.
As I recall, it was a nice snuzzle.
Unfortunately I didn't own a hociR at the time so there aren't pictures - and as we all know, if there aren't pictures, it never happened.

Some day a Ph.D candidate in Sociology, Psychology or Cultural Anthropology is going to write and defend a dissertation entirely on this thread.

500mg Vitamin B10 with the water before bed. Turns your "flow" bright yellow in the morning - good to know that in advance.

Sure - somewhere, someone is concerned.
Are people who know Ricoh Imaging well and understand the current digital camera market concerned?
In a word, NO.

I have both lenses. Thee 28~105 is an excellent lens, but not the equal of the 24~70.

I've already forgotten her name but I read a few days ago that a notable female British tog had passed who used the back of her hand as her exposure sensor. She shot B&W with OM-1's until her death.

Maybe I’m going through the inevitable jettisoning of ‘stuff’so many of my friends have recently experienced. Right now about 1/3 of all the gear I’ve accumulated is on a table. I keep finding things and either putting them on the table or adding them to my gear list here. As my gear list grows, so rises my discomfort with what I have accumulated.
I could never actually do this (it would involve selling the K-1 and all the lenses), but in reality I could do 90% of the images in my Catalog the last 12 months (whichever camera and lens I used) with the KP, DA21, DA40 and DA70.
Minimalist Kit (which is already in a Domke F3x):
KP without battery grip
HD DA21/3.2 Limited
HD DA40/2.8 Limited
HD DA70/2.4 Limited
AF360FGZ w/ diffuser
One extra battery

I have a brassy, dinged, working black ESll that is my user and a pristine - and I do mean pristine - silver that i take out for a walk twice a year in a half-case.
My m42 cameras are K, SV, Spotmatic, ES, ESll and SP-F. Correspondingly, I have several KX'es and 2 K2's. Most are black.

Might be a better idea to open a specific brand and format agnostic film Photography Forum - probably in the Photography Domain - rather than trying to wedge brand sub-Forums into Pentax Film SLR Discussion. There’s already one Film Forum there (Film Processing, Scanning and Darkroom}.

Way too easy.
Much better for your character and personal growth to meditate like a monk control breathing, heart rate and autonomous muscle twitches, control the incipient motion of the earth moving under your feet and learn to shoot.

Why choose? IMO one should own the most enjoyable to use and best lenses of both eras though I do particularly Ike the SMCP (K) versions of the Takumars he mentioned.

it is a Totally fair comment.
The wealthiest Zip Code in the state, Top Twenty in the USA, has the highest positivity and morbidity in the state. These self-important @#$&*%s ignored the protocols, had cocktail parties, drank at the local bars and 19th Hole at their golf clubs and pool cabanas all summer. The first St Louis super-spreader event was caused by a wealthy family whose daughter came home from semester abroad in Italy last March with COVID. They ignored quarantine rules and attended a 400-person, black tie hih school charity ball. I personally knew an elderly couple who got the virus at that event and died. I know these people, my entire life. I’m not making this up.
The next highest area is 2-acre-lot ex-urb / suburbs. THEN you have the poverty areas. The wealthy, under fifty and healthy, pull strings and jump the list. Everybody “knows somebody” who knows about an open appointment. There are private Facebook Groups dedicated to finding appointments!
I’m not waiting for the system to get around to me any more. I’m taking responsibility for protecting myself and my in-remission wife.
I’m sick and tired of following protocols and being penalized for doing so.
