I'm wondering if it needs some new grease/cleaning or some screws adjusted? The ring seems to be too stiff and stick just past 100-210. If a bit of minor cleaning without removing elements and regrease is required what grease would you recommend? I have some german MoS2 grease but heard that Moly isn't good for lenses as it separates. Lithium or bike grease? Isopropyl alcohol with swabs to clean?
Thanks for the help!

Great! If I won I'd probably keep it on my K3 all the time.

I have the K-30. I find I'm able to pull sufficient information out of the dark areas using the "limited" 12-bit raw. If the shot is pitch black I'll probably just throw it away. The only benefit for 14-bit I could see is taking long exposure pictures of the night sky. There is no benefit in highlight preservation which would be my only plus for 14-bit with high contrast scenes(I have a set of hitech nd grads anyway). The file sizes are also a bit smaller with 12-bit raw.

I'm upgrading from a Canon S100 to a Dslr as it was a little undewelming(great for fitting in the pocket, terrible in low light). I was a film student a few years ago and want something with a little more control and higher quality as I shoot manual or aperture priority 90% of the time. My father shot with an ME Super in the 80's-90's so I figured I'd continue shooting Pentax in the new digital era. A bonus is I have a nice Vivitar 28-200 and pentax-m 50mm f/2(metal body). I also happened to find a pentax-a 50mm f1.7... I hope the lens prices(new) don't go up much more.
