K30 trouble with wireless mode

Preflashes shouldn't be problematic as long as you use the built-in flash as master, not as controller.
To use it as controller you must also use a P-TTL compatible external flash (your Metz unit is one of them, Yongnuo isn't).

P.S. just to be clear ... this applies only if you're triggering external flashes with your built-in flash. Yongnuo with a radio trigger works fine.

There is a simple menu setting that allows you to turn front flash on/off and set it's power... just read the "Secondary reflector" chapter in your manual.

P.S. it's on page 126 in the online manual here http://www.metz.de/index.php?eID=tx_nawsecuredl&u=0&file=fileadmin/fm-dam/Do...65336d7163f9de

Does Focal Length Affect Exposure

F-number is basically just the ratio of focal length to the diameter of the front element of the lens. It tells you nothing about the amount of light passing through all the glass.
T-number is what you should be looking at if you want to compare lenses.
For example... if you have a lens at f 2.8 and decide to put an ND filter in front of it, the f-number stays at 2.8, but the t-number increases significantly (to let's say 5.6 if you use a 3-stop ND filter and assume 100% light transmission of other glass elements - which is impossible, so in reality the t-number would be even higher).

I grabbed Topaz Clarity outright. Have some samples for everyone.

But you have to take price difference into account ... Topaz Claritiy is 3-4x cheaper than Viveza or Perfectly Clear and still gives you great results.

I found Yongnuo RF-602 flash triggers and Pentax - Overclockers Australia Forums, and according to this post I have to disable the SP pin on the transmitter.
Can anyone confirm this?

Yongnuo RF-602C Triggers

I finally received them. As it turns out they have replaced the 602 transmitters with 600, but as I understand they're basically the same.

But there is a (big?) problem! :( I have a K-30, the 602's, Metz 58-af2 on the receiver and two YN-560 III (they have receivers built-in).
So when I half-press the shutter release and then don't take the picture, all flashes fire when the viewfinder display turns off (if I'm right, that is when camera stops metering).

Please tell me someone here knows how to fix this :)

P.S. Flashes seem to fire perfectly every time I actually do take the picture, but there is an awful lot of flashing when I'm just preparing to take the shot :D

So for K-30 I need the C or the N version?
