Hi, my partner has just upgraded from her K20D to a Pentax K5 DSLR. She has a couple of old Prime lenses which worked well on the K20D but we cannot get them to operate on the K5. One of the lenses is a SMC Ashai Pentax 1:2 50mm and the other a Ricoh Rikenon XR 1:2 50mm.
When these lenses are attached to the K5 we get a Flashing F on the screen and no activation of the shutter release.
We have tried various settings including those that were used on the K20D.
Would appreciate any advice from forum members as to what if anything we are not doing or doing wrong. Cheers, Blair
