Thanks for all the input and advice. I do have the dust removal on at startup always. Interestingly, on my DL2 that I still have, that doesn't have a dust removal function, I have never seen any specks on the images. OK, will bite the bullet and try some sensor cleaning.....

Have never ever cleaned the sensor on my K10d, but two spots are now beginning to bug me, but I can clone them out. Just wondering what products people would recommend . I googled it and apparently the sensor size is 28.2
I am UK based

Hi, have always had this film lens, never had much success with macro few times I have tried it on my K10d. Because it is a lens that was designed for film, will the minimum focussing distance incr due to the incr in focal length that a film lens gives. Never had a really sharp image yet with it, any advice using it would be appreciated

Hi, just joined this week. Went from MZ50 to MZ3 film cameras, then DL2 to K10d digital, the latter which I am still using. Just put first image post in 'Nature'
Look forward to using the forum!!

OK, so first post ever. Took this from the ground. Conditions were that there was lots of snow!!! Pity I missed the top of the ear. :( Taken on K10d + Pentax 55-200
