I use the Pentax MH-RA 49mm lens hood on my A 28 2.0. It's the dedicated hood of the FA 43 1.9. On APS-C, there is some vignetting even without the hood. With the hood on, the vignetting looks about the same. So I guess the hood is perfect on APS-C. The hood is aluminum with felt inner padding. Really good build. Looks like they're made for each other. Wish I had a cap to go with it.

I'm using the Metz 26 af-1 on a Pentax K-S2 (firmware 1.2). Works perfect, direct flash or bounce. Works also as a slave to my Metz 52 af-1. Rock-solid build. The locking mechanism is brilliant. Push the button and slide into hot shoe, push button and slide out.
I also have the Metz 52 af-1. This unit needs -2 1/3 EV compensation when on bounce. The Metz 26 af-1 is newer model, so apparently Metz already ironed out the kinks.
Con: the telephoto lens cover is not built-in (wide angle diffuser is built in). I'm sure I will lose it one of these days. Uses two AAA's. At this size, should have been AAs.
