Sigma 70-200mm 2.8 EX DG (version 2) with caps, hood, tripod collar, and case **SOLD**- Barrel condition 8/10 (some paint flaking on barrel near tripod collar, and a very tiny bend on filter thread which doesn't impede on filter use at all...see pictutres).
- Optically 9.5/10 (two tiny scratches each about the diameter of a grain of salt on the glass caused when the cap popped off in my bag...surface scratches only and barely noticeable. Image quality not affected).
- originally purchased used locally.
- $550 net to me.
Pentax F 50mm 1.7 with caps and original metal hood **SOLD**- Excellent condition, glass is flawless. VERY sharp!!!

Pentax DA 50-200mm, version 1, with caps and hood **SOLD**- purchased new in 2007 with a K100D kit. Lens is in good condition but has some internal dust which does not affect image quality. This is a sharp copy!

Pentax Weatherproof IR Remote O-RC1- purchased new in September 2013 for a trip. Works great!!!
- $25 net to me (cost close to $60 with tax at Henry's)
3rd Party IR Remote for Pentax - **SOLD**- also purchased new in September 2013 but didn't arrive in time for the trip, hence the purchase of the above remote LOL! Sealed in bag, never used (threw box away though).

Also *may* have a Pentax K30 in White with a DA18-55mm (version 1) available. Local sale pending, but no cash in hand yet...will be available if this sale falls through. **SOLD**- K30 purchased new in May.
- DA 18-55mm purchased new in 2007 as part of K100D kit

Thanks for your review!! Can you clarify on the above please? Does it really take approximately 2 seconds to lock on a moving target, or have I misunderstood what you've written? If the focus doesn't lock on to a moving subject pretty much immediately then it's probably a no-go for me...

I have the K30 and Sigma 70-200 and the lens sits in my bag, unused :( The K30 is plenty fast, but the tracking is where it fails (miserably, IMO). I will be upgrading to the K3 soon.
Is there a reason why you can't use your Tamron 70-200 on a new K3??? Not sure why you'd consider replacing it with a Sigma if you're happy with it?

Well, the file has been copied to the external hard drive but I cannot extract it at work without an administrator password.
Maybe this is a sign from above that I should not be doing this upgrade...leaving on vacation to the UK in 2 hours and if something goes wrong then I will not have an operating camera. Perhaps I'll just leave it.
