Last month I went to Salamanca, here in Spain, and I saw an Asian girl with a Pentax DSLR. I couldn't take a good look at it, but I think it was a K100D. I saw her several times while walking around the cathedral.
Pentax is definitely not a common brand here, almost every DSLR user has a Canikon, but you also met pentaxians now and then. I met one in my city, Valencia, while visiting the aquarium on february and another one last year in Córdoba.

Oh, I've been there. I broke my foot last year. In fact, I'm there again right now. This time it's not a broken foot, but a really bad ankle sprain :( I hope we both get well soon.
Great shots, by the way. The only wild life I can get from my window are the kids playing in the park below :)

scrathpaddy, thanks for the info about the New Carissa. There's an interesting story about another grounded ship here in Spain, the SS America, that ran aground off the coast of the island of Fuerteventura. The ship was built in 1940 and used as a troop transport during the war, nazi spies were found posing as members of her crew, it belonged to a lot of ship companies from different countries and it finally ran aground in 1994 while being towed from Greece. Before the accident they had planned to fix it and transform it into a 5 star hotel in Thailand.

Yeah, I'm sure they were, but in the end they had to be towed.
Thanks a lot! ;) I was recovering from a broken foot and I had to walk the 200-300 meters from one ship to the other to be able to capture the sun just there. Not funny at all to walk on the beach using crutches and carrying my camera at the same time. I had to abandon one of them (you can see it in the last photo, standing next to one of those poles by the right).
Thanks! The B&W was one of my last shots that morning. The sun was already high and colors were not as interesting as 30 minutes before.
