Wow - I think those look pretty good. I guess I'll have to give The Darkroom a try. I used to home process color with a C-41 kit and had some decent results but the chemicals don't last and the temperature maintenance can be a pain. I will still do B&W myself (much simpler) but I'll give my color film to The Darkroom...

Good advice! I'll do some more testing when I get the chance. It was about 35 degrees that day with a wind chill in the middle 20's so I didn't take much time with my shots...BRRRRR!!! Also, the Fotodiox adaptor doesn't have any f-stop markings so I kinda guess what the aperture opening is...

Thanks Rick! Yep, I found the Focus Peaking after I shot those pictures and I think I will leave it on all the time too! I have a Maxxum 9xi and a Maxxum 9000 that still get "exercised" from time to time and a Sony A300 that can use the lenses too. With my acquisition of the "Q" I'm finding that the rest of my cameras are being ignored! :o

I just received my Fotodiox AF-P/Q for Minolta A mount lenses. The first lens that I tried out was one of my Minolta Maxum AF 50mm f1.7 (22). I believe that works out to about a 275mm. Yes, focusing is a challenge!

Here are some random shots from my new (to me) original Q. Had a few minutes so I ran around grabbing some shots. All pictures were taken with the 02 zoom. Bear with me as I'm still getting used to the camera!

Hopefully I will get better as I learn the Q system. My goodness...there is just so many variables available with the Q! It was about 35 degrees outside with a windchill in the mid-20's - brrrrrrrrrrr!

Thanks for the welcome TER-OR! I can see how you could accidentally do a lot of things with the Q. I am constantly amazed at all the different settings that are available with this little gem!

Thanks for the tip monochrome! You needn't worry. The first time I let someone look at it, I immediately felt separation anxiety and found myself grabbing it back!:lol:
