Well the lens is quite old i guess production started 1960.
It dont look like dust or haze at all the lenses seem to be pretty clear actually.
Now watching photo it looks a bit foggy but actually just the "marks stains" whatever on the left upper half are the thing im asking for.
Its an f0.95 lens that i wanted to adapt to a pentax Q in the first place. (and quite cheap on top)

Hi there,
I brought a lens a few days ago while im generally very satisfied with it just minor marks of usage on the outside there is something that bugs me.
Im quite new with the whole camera thing so i never strumbled upon something similar.
A pic helps i guess

Are these just marks of bad cleaning is the coating mierable or what could it be ?
It can be barely seen normally.
I managed to spot it out quite well on this photo. Normally it can only seen with the right lightning situation.

I just brought a Pentax Me super came along with a m50 1,7, a Vivitar 28 2,8 and a crappy Zoom ... i just love the bay in the early morning working hours : D

Hi,
I recently brought the lens mentioned in the Topic and i have a minor "problem" with it.
Compared to my other lenses the Zoom is pretty sluggish.
It works well between 170-400mm but from 400-500mm i cant turn the ring around in a smooth motion. Its more like ~6 rough stops between these lenghes. So waht i want to know is if someone else here experienced the same with this lens or if i just got a bad copy.
