Amazon Warehouse (United States) Bigma Description Rokinon 85mm f/1.4 Description Quote: I bought this lens from Amazon almost exactly one year ago (8/17/13). It's a great lens, but I didn't like the manual focus that much and have since switched to a Sigma 18-250 zoom (with AF). The lens is in pristine condition, with no scratches or physical imperfections that I could find. I have all of its original documents, accessories, and its box. My price includes free 2-day shipping within the lower 48 states. Image album here.

:-D
I see.. in that case I'd only use the 15mm to get really close to people who like me enough
What to do....
I think I might also wait and see if a rokinon 16mm goes on sale, as I have a focusing screen & magnifier installed to make use of the lovely 85mm rokinon I bought.

Hmm. I guess it's a wait and see then, depending on what prices crop up between now and the end of the month. I'm interested in the buildings, views, people, and activity on the streets, I know I won't get an optimal fit, but I really just want one lens to encompass all of these things. I like landscapes and vast expanses a lot, but they aren't my main focus. I would say people are more interesting to me at this point (people up close and personal).

Hi guys,
I'm shopping for a wide angle lens with great image quality for urban streets and landscapes and I'm trying to decide between pentax's (now older generation) smc 15 and 21 mm limiteds. I don't mind buying used, as that keeps things more within my budget ($400-500) and I'd like to have my lenses by the end of this month (can't wait forever for a sale). After some searching I've found a used 15mm limited for $518 (amazon) and a used 21mm limited for $360 (ebay). I like the generally slightly more favorable review of the 15mm, its extra field of view, and its potentially stronger resale value (people prefer the SMC 15mm limited over the HD 15mm limited). Do you think those factors are worth the extra $160, or about 30% price difference?
Separately, if I'm missing some marketplaces for cheaper lens prices or strong alternative lens competitors that have the IQ (specifically for me low distortion, high contrast, and sharpness) and form factor (actually I don't care that much about form factor) of the pentax limiteds, please let me know your opinion on those.
