Does this problem affect even new k-r's that are available today or is it an old batch issue?
When using a contact cleaner without disassembling the top of the camera, would the contact cleaner or grease residues on the e-dial be blown somewhere inside the camera and affect the buttons and pcb board near it?

I was also wondering about this, so can the IRport on the side of the kr be used with the wireless remote for bulb photography?

It has something to do with color gradation, 14 bit a/d converters produces smoother color gradients on the picture. cmiiw

Can you use an ir remote on the KM for exposures longer than 30sec (bulb mode) just like a cable switch?

I'm going to send my camera to argos to claim the extended warranty should i include the lens, sd card, and battery with the body or just the body?

It was a gift from a relative and i think she also purchased a 3 warranty for the cam so i'm going to send to her and have repaired or replaced by argos.

I just noticed today that my k100d super has tilted it's sensor to left and when in mirror lockup mode the sensor is shaking like crazy and making this ticking sound. SR also doesn't work anymore so all my shot's are tilted to the left and blurry at shutter speed of 50 and below even at iso800. I think someone dropped the camera co'z i left it on top of my tv which is a good 3ft drop and never bothered to tell me. :(

It seem's that some of my photo's that were taken in M come out more properly exposed and in focus compared to photos that were taken in Av mode.

I tried shooting indoor aquariums with my kitlens and out of a hundred shots i only got 6 good photo's. :o

Yes this is what i meant taking several shots to make the panorama. how about focusing do i manual focus or auto? do i need to use the exposure lock feature of the camera? thanks for the inputs!

Are you guy's happy with the jpeg quality the k100d produces or do you still post process the images? i always tweak the levels and apply a little unsharpmask to my images just to make it a little better co'z they look dull out of the camera or maybe it's my fault i'm still a newbie at using a dslr and also at photography. :o
