I bought the Kr recently and I am very pleased with it. One feature I have found by mistake is for the lenses. I bought a cheap manual focus lens that does not have the A setting on the apertures, when I placed it on the camera I got Fee in the Aperture window and could not use the lens. Once I looked up FEE in the operators manual I found. that I had the option to Allow or Not Allow the use of certain lenses. Once set to Allow I have found that I can use lots of lenses that are old and cheap to buy (like the 200mm to 500mm Tamron zoom for £80.00) and even though they are manual focus I have the added bonus of focus confirm on the camera. Just Brilliant. :):):)

Hi. to all 'new to the forum but I have been watching on FB_looks great and I like the monthly photo comp's. I'll. be entering myself once I get the hang of my Pentax Kr. Still working my way through the manual but I must say it is a fantastic camera. 10 out of 10 Pentax !!.
