We feed around 400 birds a day, close to 50 varieties, all with their character and distinctive vocals. These Lorikeets are known as the backyard bullies in Australia. On a wet day they flock to my patio as their wings are wet and heavy. I have hundreds of bird photos from Turkey's and owls to Black Cockatoos and Eastern Rosella's.
I chose this capture as it shows their character and appetite.

Hi Skunko,
Thanks for the Techriffic tip. The two main camera shops here in Coffs Harbour are very expensive, very helpful but expensive. One of them is a sponser for our camera club work shops with gift vouchers.
My K30 was $350 cheaper from a Sydney store than purchasing here.

Hi from Coffs Harbour NSW. You should have a local camera club near by. The camera shops will tell you where. Local tech colleges often run 8 week courses, just one evening a week. Hope that helps.

I have had a Pentax since 1968, bought on my second tour of Vietnam. My grandson now has the old Pentax and I am totally confused with my new K30.
I live in a medically assisted veterans apartment, luckily in Coffs Harbour, NSW, Australia........ Its called Gods Country. I spent nearly 20 years in Branson MO, USA. My dad was American.
I have joined a local camera club and after 5 months I have won .........nothing !
I bought a SanDisk Ultra 16GB and all I get is, Card is not formatted, even after following the manual directions on page 219. The camera works well with other older cards.......... Help !
In simple English please.
