Item Description
The Pentax MX-1 is a great little camera. This is an enthusiasts compact camera, with a large sensor, sharp and wide aperture lens, and a high quality metal body. The best part of the black version, is eventually the black paint may wear, showing the brass underneath. This one hasn't been used enough for that yet though. It's a great all around, or travel camera, known for great image quality, retro look, and a high build quality.
It is in very good condition, and from a non smoking home. Everything works as it should. Comes with Camera, lens cap, camera strap, battery & charger, in its original box. Also included are two extra Wasabi batteries and charger. Asking Sold via PayPal, shipped USPS priority CONUS.

Reluctantly up for sale is my Pentax 50-135mm lens. Need funds for another acquisition. I bought this lens from KEH.com, which they ranked as Like New condition. The lens has no marks that I can see. Very gently cared for and only used occasionally. I carefully applied some gaffer tape to the lens hood to ensure no wear marks. I rather particular about my gear. Never had any issue with the lens, no motor issues. Incredible lens! I've had a quality UV filter, Hoya 67mm Super HMC, on it since day one, which comes with the lens. Also included is the Pentax lens pouch, front and rear lens caps, box and papers including manual.

As far as zooms go I also have a tamron 17-55mm 2.8, and a pentax 50-135 2.8. I just don't have a need for this lens anymore, and never use it. Now I'm trying to build up a small collection of primes, so I may be selling the 50-135 down the road to. They're great lens, but I want a few light primes these days.

So I know of someone who wants to mount their 28mm Elmarit Leica R lens and/or 28mm Voigtlander Ultron m-mount lens to a Pentax K-5. Does anybody know if there is such an adaptor, or if it is possible?

Thank you for that one, just sent them a PM telling them I would take it.
I'm teaching a photography class, and many of my students show up with a cell phone, old P&S or nothing at all. The MX-1 seems like a good little camera for them to learn on, so I'm buying what I can for my classes to use. I would love DSLR's (already donated my own K-5 and K-5II as well), but can't afford that to cover my needs for the classes out of my own pocket, so this is great.

I like that the deal is on the black one this time. My old silver film cameras never really showed their brass as they aged, just showed light scratches. I always tried to keep the black looking good, so they didn't really show much brass either.
I am really tempted to give this one a little abrasive to give the brass a jump though, would be refreshing in a way in this modern age. Maybe I will see how well I get on with camera first incase I don't keep it though.
