A beautiful treatment of a rainbow that one rarely sees.

No street musicians out in this weather in South Bend, Indiana, but here are a couple old photos.
Not sure if they technically qualify. They're musicians playing in the street, but they're not buskers. One was playing a piano that a local music shop puts on the sidewalk downtown during the summer; the other was in a booth at an art festival, selling his CDs or something.
We did get a pro-busking law passed in 2014, so hopefully next year we'll see some people with their hats out (and hopefully full), making the town sound beautiful. |

Shot these yesterday during my lunch break ... finally no rain here, but still crummy overcast light.
Same overpass not far from my work ... J |

He sounded great, like a weathered bluesman.
I shot this last summer on the streets of Ann Arbor, home of the University of Michigan, where on most summer days students will be playing on the street, no doubt to help through the school year.
Here's a favorite of mine, of an excellent jazz vibes player, that plays on the streets of Detroit.
I think I posted it once before, but it fits better here.
He lets the children play along with him.
Fantastic!

Took a detour on my way through downtown LA to grab a couple of pics in the warehouse district.
Low sun and lots of shadows messes with the captures, will have to wait for a cloudy day.
A weekend will be better for less cars blocking the art too I think. |

Pretty neat! There's almost a rainbow demon in the middle.

Apart from an inabilty to spell words such as colour correctly there is little to suggest the PPG is USAcentric. I am a British photographer based in France and I have hundreds of images on the PPG.

Already some stunners in this weeks POTW. Thanks for hosting Dave, love those waterfall images.
Visited a retirement village on Saturday, and as usual these places have fantastic gardens, flowers galore. Flower by noelcmn, on Flickr Poppie by noelcmn, on Flickr
Also visited Johannesburg Botanical Gardens, looking for some silhouettes for the Project 52 challenge, only to discover there was an open air concert with some rock band-gazillions of people, which I don't like- not at a Botanical Garden at any rate. Fortunately the concert was finished, and everyone was going home. Got a few silhouettes Silhouette by noelcmn, on Flickr
Probably be out and about with the camera this week, so probably be posting a few more.
Have a great week everyone!
