Yes, the best bet would be to find a tablet that supports card reading out of the box.

In short rooted means that you can do things with the tablet that the manufacturer has blocked. It gives access to features and apps that normally wouldn't function. But it also means to acheive root the tablet basically has to be hacked and every device is different and not all can be rooted due to certain manufacturers locking their devices down. A web search about your specific device would be the best direction I could point you. Keep in mind if it is possible with your tablet it is a tedious and sometimes advanced process with danger of turning your device into a brick, therefore let it be noted I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

If the tablet is Android it may need to be rooted to work with otg.

Well Eric said that the Program Plus screen and Super are interchangeable, so I guess the A3000 screen won't work.

Thanks, I actually did, but only to see if he had any screens to sell (he didn't). Didn't ask him if the other models' screens would work. I'll give it a shot. bp

Hello All, I'm new here and have enjoyed much of the discussion. My question is if an A3000 focusing screen can be used in a Super Program because it is the cheapest parts body I might find in the A series, and I would really like to get the Super Program going but the screen is DESTROYED! If not what other screens are compatible?
Thanks!
