i got same problem with my 17-50 and 28-75. but i was contact my local tamron dealer to check this problem they not even try to fix it they just give me brand new one yeah it fix after that. i think you got bad copy of it. :(

Today i saw a guy with 2 Pentax camera K-50 and K-X photograph a triathlon event. this is the 2nd time i saw someone used Pentax.

Thanks for your advice, i'll look for it.
Anyone got any experiences with Universar Auto PC 135mm /2,8? i believe it made by Mitake Optical Co. i think it pretty good deal look like brand new got box and manual but the down side is the seller just want to sell a whole set it got universa Interflex TL, Universar Auto MC 55mm /2,8, 35mm/2,8. and 135mm/2.8 for 100 buck.

18-55mm is pretty good lens but if you just do human subject i'm thinking about 35mm f2.8 and 50mm f1.7 or 1.4 both got pretty low price for used tho about 50 - 60 dollar each.

yap distance scale on underside,. nope other lenses like vivitar 135/2.8 is correctly mount. i think it was reassembled wrongly because it got cleaning mark.

i got a Helios 44-2 with genuine pentax M42 adapter it doesnt wobble but it mount upside down or it my lens problem i don't know why but other M42 lenses i got mount correctly.
here is what i test with my student.

i got alot of bad experience with teleconverter in alot of case it will compromise your image quality and you'll losing some stop of light because of it. i agree with manual focus lenses samyang 85mm F1.4 for $300, or some M42 lens like Jupiter-9 85mm F2 about $60, Pentax M 135mm F3.5 for $50. or Tamron 70-300 for $120 if you dont mind about F4.
i'm Carl Zeiss jena 135mm F3.5 and Pentax M 50 F1.4 for almost all my portrait work.

i believe that is canon because pentax never make an camera with deal behind shutter. and i believe it is 1000D or 350D my friend got one same color same style.

Nope, there nothing writen who made it not even logo or mark. only some serial number at button that written 6120120
emm you got the point maybe it is other lens.
here is new example photo of it fish scale like bokeh. no editing just PEF convert to JPG. maybe it will help some how

Pentax M 28mm F3.5 i got it for 60 buck.
RAYNOX 28mm F/2.8 also 60 buck my friend just brought one.
this 2 lenses is pretty sharp tho.

i compare it with 50mm it look more closer to subject, with 55mm it little bit wider i thing about 52mm.
Metal Mount only aparture ring is plastic other thingies metal.
thanks but it not Pentax M 50mm F/2 i got that lens. :lol:

No where find it written focal range or who made it.
i think it about 52 or 55mm i compare it with Pentax M 50mm it look little bit closer to subject.
F stop from F/1.7 - F/22.
it got 6 aperture blades.
Filter Size: 52mm
Length: 32mm
Diameter: 60mm
PK mount all metal build except aperture ring using plastic.
someone give it to me he also no idea what is it, i think and look like Promaster 50mm F1.7, what do you think guys?

Some fast DA prime lenses like 85mm F1.2 or F1.4 and DA zoom 70 - 200 F2.8. that will be nice. ;)

i think we are. in my 5 years of photography experience i just saw 1 guy using Pentax because he saw me taking photo with Mamiya 635. i believe he was using ME or KX ( film one ).
