Apologies for that.
I am away from my internet connection a lot as I travel. I should have more access soon :)
I was also hoping to sell the k10d and tammy together.
I hope there was no inconvenience.

Happy to sell whats left for $800 as a package!! Item Description
I have recently bought a D300, so unfortunately don't have a need for the K10D anymore. I truly enjoyed using this kit and can't wait to see what Pentax bring to the table in the future. For the moment, the D300 just suits my requirements better.
I would love to sell the lot as a kit to simplify shipping etc. but will consider selling individually if there is not interest.
Hopefully someone will pick it up and give it the love it deserves :)
- The K10D was bought from an Overclockers.com.au forum member in Australia with great feedback and it has not missed a beat at all.
- The Tamron 18-250mm was purchased by me in Melbourne, Australia approximately 6 months ago. Fantastic walkaround lens in almost all situations.
- The Pentax 50mm/1.4 was purchased 1.5 months ago at B&H in New York. Beautiful in low light and for DOF and/or Bokeh control
- The D-BG2 was purchased in Hong Kong in May. Stores the SDHC card and remote.
- And, finally the Optech strap was purchased in Bangkok.
All of the items are in excellent condition.
Paypal accepted and we can work out insured shipping in the USA to make sure it gets to you safely.
PM me with any questions.

Not much I could do on the second shot as it was about 9pm at night and there were a million people around so I basically took this shot over everyones heads.
Add to that the fact I had just finished a heavy gym session and I had a lot of trouble holding the camera still.
I do like the first one a lot more and don't think the second one really worked :(

Thanks for doing some PP. I am stuck travelling with an eeepc, which whilst it is a wicked little laptop is not the best for graphics work. 7" screen is just too hard to work with :)
Thats another thing I need to learn as well....

Hey,
Just wanted to post a couple of pics up as they are the first photos I have taken that show a little potential. I am just learning and have just bought a k10d and tamron 18-250mm for travelling around the world. First DSLR, no PP at all and straight jpg from the camera.
Any advice welcomed of course....Can't wait to improve :)

I would like to recommend the Asus eeepc
It has very very good price/performance ratio usability
Stick 2gb of ram in it, and a $80 Adata 16gb SDHC card...complete some of the internal usb/bluetooth/gps mods and you have an awesome little laptop.
It has three usb 2 ports, very strong wifi a/b/g, and an external vga adapter.
You can also do a touchscreen mod if you are really keen.
I wanted a macbook air, but that only has 1 usb port and costs a hell of a lot more.
On the bad side of things the screen does get a little annoying at times.
It is really only perfectly clear at 800x480. There are modified drivers to get it running at 800x600, 900x540, 1000x600 and 1024x768 but the text ends up blurry.
I just quickly switch to 1000x600 if I really need it for an app to work.
If you spend a lot of time reading stuff online you need to stay in the native res.
But it is only a $400 laptop that weighs 900 grams so you have to expect some limitations.
I like it for travel as I piggyback every ones wireless and if I lose it then it doesn't really matter
If you have any queries just let me know.
cheers
