Thank you! If you go into the Q menu and then to picture style, you can select a variety of picture styles and within each one you can make additional adjustments if you like - or just try the different styles first. There’s probably a place where you can set everything back to default in the settings menu as well if you want to do that, and then start fresh experimenting with the styles.

You can sometimes find a good deal on Canon‘s refurbished page straight from Canon. I have one and I like it. There was a post on one of the reviews that said if you change some of the settings you can get a little bit sharper photos if that’s what you’re looking for. I tried that and was happy with the results. Here’s a sample picture - just some snapshots- if you want to take a look at some examples. Granted I didn’t really know how to get the best out of it in the beginning. :)

I don’t know. I think they mean the sale is just for the black and silver body only even though they have the black and the black and silver pictured.

I recommend the 8 over the 9. Besides being a little less expensive, it also has a fun feature that the 9 doesn’t have where you can take in camera, diptychs and triptychs, etc. I initially thought I would never use it but it’s surprisingly very fun. :)
