I love 4 and 5 the contrast with the wood and the bird really captures the eye great texture. and with 5 cardinals have always been one of my favorites...

Very Nice shots..spring is definitely in the air wish we had blooms here in Michigan another few weeks perhaps. I love the shot of the bench the low angle makes it.

Rupert, please tell Otis I am truly Honored for the award.. Tell Otis that i have many many shots of squirrels and their little counter parts chipmunks and will share some very soon.. honestly they are one of my favorite subjects to shoot. :)

Thanks Tom I am so ready for things to turn green things up north are at the ugly brown stage where the snow is melting and turns brown from mud splashing on it.. Love Love Love winter releasing its grip and life returning.

Thank you so much..you know the blue jays stay out in the woods around the neighborhood but at the end of winter they come into the feeder sure fire way to know spring is coming or vice versa in the fall before the first snows the feeders fill with blue jays.

the feeder under the nuthatch started out as a squirrel feeder i used to put the corn cobs on them..slowly the birds have begun to take it over.

I think thats why i like it so much the foreboding feeling;; and the thing is at the top of that huge hill is an Indian cemetery really a beautiful place.
