New tripod and gimbal head came in today so I thought that the Moon would be a good test of my 150-450 together with my Tamron AF 1.4x teleconverter. These are cropped shots. The first with the 150-450 and auto focus. The second with the teleconverter added and using manual focus. I did not catch that the lens was set at 360mm for the firs shot.

Neues Palais, Potsdam. K-3 with 1.20 and 18-135. Just simple JPG and "Green Mode".
Despite the light from the windows you can still see the wall and ceiling between the windows.

That picture looks fairly sharp to me.. search on here about the softness discussions, more MP demands more from the user, there are quite a few discussions on here about how to help this..
