Your pics are very impressive. Thanks for your comments.
The 50-500 and the 150-500 are sold with PA. The 50-500 cannot be used with a TC, however.
Prices in Germany are 1299 ans 2099, so Sigma is saying. But the do a rental service here in GER. You can rent them for a week or longer, which sounds not to bad.

Yes, its rare an a new one costs more then 5000€. :-(

Thanks for that good presentation comparing the different lenses. Did you improve the pics by using photoshop etc ? Are those made in raw-quality? They look all very good.

Hi Adam,

By using the ipad I am in trouble with navigation of mobile version. Can't find my photos... Don't laugh, it true. It was not the track, not the mining shaft , and not that with the non smoking chimney.
The last one is the oven itself, I don't know the english tech term for that.
Thanks Heiko

Just opend the link in your answer and came back to the album by using not the mobile version.
Thanks again... Have a good day

During the good old times of MX and ME-super I used a Kenko Teleconverter, but was not really convinced. In combination with a Tokina 80-200 the sharpness was lost. But I still have that Kenko, so I try again with my K20

Hi,
I like to catch birds and using the Sigma DG 70-300 mm 1:4-5.6 and second the Pentax -DA 50-200 mm, 1:4-5.6.
The Sigma is fine in the macro mode, but in the Tele it looks always a little bit foggy ( maybe not the right word) and not sharp, although close it up to 16 or 22.
Using it in a range between 70 and 150 mm it is ok, not brilliant, but ok.
The Pentax lens is not strong enough with the 200 mm. Good in the garden, but outside I miss some more 200 mm.

So, all comments are welcome to figure out, if there is a good Pentax Telezoom or another one.
Thanks a lot
Beekeeper
