How's the aperture ring in that,my first one was jammed and the one I have now is better and for $47.00 it was even sweeter.

Hi all,
It's a start but so far I have these lenses for my Pentax K20D
20mmF2.8 FA
28-70mm F4 FA
50mm F2 A
and my latest came in the mail today a 28mmF2.8A, I purchased one off ebay 2 weeks ago and the aperture ring
didn't turn and there was a scratch on the rear element. This new one is better all around. I don't know what it is
about Pentax stuff but I really like them the picture quality has something different about it, if it's the glass they
use or the processors in the camera. I just lovin it, I've been using Nikon's for so long that using pentax has been
a real treat.

Well I decided to send it back, between the stiff aperture ring and the scratches on the rear element,
I'll wait for something better to come along.

Tested the 28mm today, had Sun most of the day, so far there's no problem with the lens.

The Focusing ring is smooth as silk That's what I love about the Pentax lenses, I don't know about black marker, I have done that on the black metal parts not on the lens itself.

I purchased last month on ebay a FA 20mm and I really love the lens, I had the same size lens in a Nikkor and the pintax to me is sharper. I did pay
about $450.00 for mine and I see them go over $600.00, but like the A there hard to get but there worth it.

Hi all,
I just received a 28mm F2.8 A lens and the lens is in great shape except for two things, one is that on the rear lens element there's a slight
scratch which I think it's a coating scratch, I took a few pictures tonight and so far I don't see anything amiss no flare or other distortion. The next
thing is the aperture ring is stiff, which isn't a problem for me because I'm using it on my K20D, any thoughts on this.

Nice pictures, the FA 20mm is really a great lens, I'm using it on my K20D and it better that to 20mm I had on my Nikon set up which I all sold for the Pentax.

When i'm using the Raw Therapee, were and how do you print a picture. most software has a little printer on the top of the page, you click on that
and the printer page comes up to select your paper size and other things.

I won't tell, but they are expensive I paid $460.00 for mine off ebay and I think it's sharper than the 20mm Nikkor f2.8 I had and sold

I used a drop of eclipse E2 on a Q-tip which I used on other cameras with no problems. it just looks like there's residue left by
the cleaner.

Hi all,
I used my K20D yesterday and of course I changed lenses outside and got some stuff on the Mirror so I decided to clean it
I've been doing this for years with no problems well I get the mirror cleaned but this lite green film keeps coming back on the mirror
and I can't get it off, any ideas on how to get it off once and for all.
