I missed out on a nice photo of a small boat moving slowing slowly through a small shaft of light, good framing about 2 seconds.. I got the light framing perfectly with one click, one frame. But, the man standing on the boat full-waving continuously, lowered his hand momentarily just as I shot. Had I known how to quickly set up a burst shot, I would have gotten his hand fully extended.
How can quickly set up a burst shot with my K-5. The only manual I have is evidently for a different version of K-5. Please see first photo of manual instructions for Continuous Shooting. The second photo is of my camera's Drive Mode.
How can set up a a burst on my camera?

Thank you all for your information. I was successful in taking the photos. Used tripod and flash at slight angle.

I am trying to take pictures of app library on my old cellphone with an old 55mm Pentax 1:4 macro lens on a K5 in M. My viewfinder is filled and in good focus, but he photos are all blurry. I have tried focal lengths of 15 to 135, makes no difference. How can I get in focus pictures?

I bought a used SMC Pentax-M 1.4 50mm. How can I get it to work with K5? (No response upon pressing shutter button. Tried in Green and M modes.)

Thanks to one and all.
I am going to take interested_observer's advlce. I will buy the K3 and use my present lenses. I will see how it goes with them. Meanwhile I will pine for all the goodies that the rest of you have talked about (someday!). Your replies have been a real education.

Are my two K5 Pentax lenses (18-55 and 55-300)) compatible with a K3? Are they recommended?

Would like to set K5 to RAW. File format grayed out. Shows JPEG. How do I set RAW? Where do I see RAW on shootlng screen?
