And I have one: see it here. I agree with many of the comments - hefty and slightly awkward but all is forgiven for its IQ, which is superb. Here is an example with it at f3.5 and 70mm.
I make it at least 3 iterations of this lens from Sigma - but maybe there are more?

can you give me an idea of postage costs to the UK pls? Also, is that US or A$ (not that there 's much of a difference these days)?

i've finally been brought here by a conundrum, posted yesterday on another thread. but apart from having problems solved i look forward to getting some work critiqued by and by. or is that just another form of problem solving?
been shooting with pentax since 2005 with a DL and a K10 since last spring. pertaining to my other post, not all pentax k-mounts will work on the k10 (50mm f1.4 manual) unless i'm advised differently.
anyway, hoots from scotland.

i came across a 50mm m 1.4 k-mount in a local shop this morning, in almost mint condition. at 30 quid it seemed very cheap, but when mounted on the shops K10D it locked up. we tried manual focus (naturally) and M setting. it just wouldn't work. i thought all lenses ever made worked on the k10? any ideas on why this one wouldn't? i didn't check the firmware and i'm not sure if this is valid anyway.
cheers
