I have the same issue since I updated K-30 to 1.05, it was working fantastic before but now it's freezing AF time to time and have to turn it off and on again in order to make it work. After few short again same thing, I don't think it's a battery or power issue because I tried it with a new battery which was fully charged. It seems a software issue and Pentax should take action rapidly.

Hi Topace!
Thanks for the reply, actually there is no thin shims together with the screen,
I will find it and try to check if it works :)
I think you are right as I read it in other forum discussion as well as on focusingscreen.com site.
Thanks again!

Hi,
I bought ML-60 focusing screen and tried it on Pentax K-30,
In view finder subject seems out of focus when using AF setting but when looking into the image it perfectly in focus,
I tried on MF setting and its opposite (Subject in focus while looking into view finder but image completely out of focus,
When using original MF60 screen then don't have this problem at all.
Any advise if something wrong with the installation or any other reason? Thanks!

Hi Steve,
Thanks a lot for your useful tip, I really liked the change which came after setting the AWB in "Tungsten Light" the indoor images taken on this setting came out really marvelous.
Cheers!

Hi,
I bought Pentax K-30 few days ago together with one of my friend in the same time,
I was just wondering when comparing my camera's photos with the one which my friend owned,
Mine one showing more yellowish tone in same shot under the same setting and conditions, especially indoor shots,
I mean nothing wrong with the picture quality but I just curious that what cause to have this reason where as both models, lenses, settings and environments are the same.
Any has an idea or opinion about this issue? Thanks a lot!
