I have a lot of love for my DA 50mm. It lives on my K30 most days - except when I go birding then I use the Sigma 70-300 DG OS.
Here's some snaps from Hong Kong - all taken with said DA 50mm.

My camera bag has the usual stuff like camera gear, clothes, feminine products, and such. The weirdiest things I've stashed in it would be the saga (Adenanthera pavonina) seeds. I picked them off the ground after a birding session, now the seeds are at home on a shelf.

So I finally made my decision a week ago.
The camera shop made me an offer I couldn't resist - also my pay had just come in. So now I have a blue Pentax K30, and the WR kit lens. I don't have other Pentax lens yet, but I'm hoping to get more lens soon.
I'm also looking out for a mount to adapt my Nikon lens to the Pentax mount.
I haven't really had the time to fully explore the camera so hopefully I'll get some shooting done soon and have stuff to share.

Hello!
The name's Avarielle and I've been horribly poisoned by Pentax cameras. Hence, I'm here to do my research before I make the switch from
Nikon to Pentax.
Currently, I use a Nikon D40 that used to belong to my father. He barely used it in the 5-odd years he had it. So it is now mine and gets used on practically a daily basis.
I don't have any specific genres of photography I "specialise" in but I enjoy toy photography, macro, and architecture. I also dabble in landscapes, astrophotography, street, birding, and whatever my mood desires. (Except insects and models. I do not like bugs, and shooting posed people bore me.)
Well. I'll have to end this post here. Considering I'm typing it in the bus to work, and I'm almost reaching my workplace.
