Thanks for your sugeestions.
The contacts are in perfect condition, no sign of corrosion at all.
Batteries were placed correctly also. Still dead : (

Hello,
My K-x is not new but it was working fine since a week ago.
This weekend when I turned it on it simply didnt work at all. I changed the lithium batteries (which were in full capacity) to alkaline batteris just in casa, still dead. Took all the batteris out and waited a day and put the batteries again, still dead and it´s been like that since Friday. Completely dead. Any suggestions what to do and any idea of may have happened.

Hi all!
I´m Juliana from Rio; a psychologist in love with photography.
Just got my Pentax k-x; it used to be my sis backup camera and since she got herself a Leica the Pentax was given to me.
I pretend to start an introduction to photography course soon. I´m totally amateur and camera handling is from pure intuition :o
