A delightfully simple addition to my photography has been the use of a close up filter on the front of my 100mm macro lens, which in turn is mounted to my K5. I have found that it makes a marked difference to achieving that shot that I first envisaged, without needing to crop the photograph to get it. The photograph below (F/22 – 2.5 Sec ISO-100) of a Wolf Spider was captured in this manner.
