Yep. Looks like a 3D-printed prototype, though I like that the design concept bears a family resemblance to the the K-5/K-3 line.

(I shoot with my K-5 daily, but I recently made the mistake of looking through the viewfinder my old Konica Autoreflex T4. Sigh.)

Waiting for more than just a block of machined plastic...

Welcome grogzoid! I'm in Seattle, too.

Hard to keep gear acquisition syndrome at bay. I've got the kit lens, but I'm a big fan of the primes.

I transitioned from film about a year ago, and have always liked shooting normal to wide. I'm enjoying the 21mm Limited and the the 35mm Limited Macro.

If you're on a budget, I've heard/read great things about the DA 35mm f2.4. (Same optical formula as the FA 35mm f2.0--a classic double-Gauss design.) Might be a good prime to start with.

Looking for a smc DA 70mm f2.4. Doesn't need to be cosmetically perfect; just needs to be a good shooting lens (optically/mechanically perfect).

I've been keeping an eye on KEH; "Excellent" 70mm f2.4s seem to be in the $415 range. I'd be willing to pay a similar price for a comparable lens from somebody on this forum.

Thanks!

Here's an early attempt, with an early K-mount 50mm F1.4. I was shaking down my new system before a trip to Spain....

I've been shooting film seriously for about four or five years now-- rangefinders from the 1950s through 1970s (Aires, Konicas, Yashicas, Canonets), to SLRs from the 1970s and 1980s (Konica AR, Olympus OM, Nikkormats, and of course Pentax) to scale focusing and P&S finds from the 1980s and 1990s (Oly XAs, XA2s, Infinity Stylus, etc.)

I recently made my first DSLR purchase, a secondhand K-5 and18-55 kit lens from KEH. (I mainly chose Pentax because I already have some nice legacy lenses onhand to use with the K-5.) Now I'm learning the digital workflow, how to think and see in color, and where to go from here.
