I have the metz 48 and k30 and have been experimenting all night with the slave mode and works perfectly. TTLis slig1htly under exposed but is easily corrected through the camera

I have been a member of the dslr club since 2006 with the olympus e500, so instead of outlaying more money on a dieing brand Ihave jumped ship a bought a k30 with the 18-135wr lens. My main focus in photography is sailing boats (specifically skifs) and the disabled sailers. However there is nothing better than seeing a16 footer coming at you under full sail. I chose the k30 for its weather sealing and high frame rate (6fps) and very reasonable cost. I am looking forward to posting some pictures and maybe entering some of the competions in the near future.
