Pentax k1 2019 still worth it?

Following this thread as I am too pondering a jump to the K1. I have a K30, it's OK, but I desperately want to increase the resolution. I have two FF lenses, HD D FA 70-200mm 2.8 and HD D FA 24-70mm F2.8. I'm struggling with the 3 options. 1- Get a K1.....2- Wait to see what the new flagship camera has to offer......3-Get a K3 or KP just to move up now (maybe that's enough resolution for me...but I fear I'll always wonder how much better the K1 would be)

Size of the camera, slower FPS, no built in flash, and price of course.

which Pentax DSLR to purchase?

New to this forum, and intend to use it more often....hope I'm posting in the best location.

I've done a fair amount of online digging, read reviews for several Pentax DSLRs, but still could use suggestions as to which one to purchase.

I tend to shoot wildlife off and on, some action/sports, but mostly landscapes & architecture with an increasing interest in casual portraits, so it's in regards to subject matter I'm all over the place. I've always owned a Pentax, loved my old medium format 6x7 film camera. Finally purchased a K30 about 6 years ago, and a couple lenses: Pentax D FA 2.8 24-70MM & Pentax D FA 2.8 70-200. I've enjoyed the K30, but lately find myself wanting more. I'm generally pleased with the pictures, but find myself wanting sharper images/higher resolution. Can't help wanting to go full frame, but know there are drawbacks to that too....so is that the real solution?
Video is not a top priority. A built-in flash would get used, but that shouldn't make/break the deal, I would likely just have to learn how to use my Lumopro LP180 (actually want to learn how to use it, just haven't found a good resource to follow up on that).
This post is rather scattered, and it likely reflects where I am with my equipment. I just want to know I've got the DSLR that best suits me and really invest time/energy for years to come. Glad to provide more info if needed.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Flash for K30

I've had my K30 a couple years, used it only off and on due to limited free time. I'm old school, used film/darkroom, loved my 6x7...so the digital thing is newish. I now have plenty of time and desire to dedicate to becoming more comfortable/familiar with my K30. One thing.... I know absolutely nothing about flashes. I want to learn more, and would like something easy to use/learn, and get good results....price isn't an issue. Suggestions?

Misc how to achieve this look with wider lens

I've only recently made the jump from chemistry/darkroom photography to digital and I'm struggling with getting
results I want. I used to spend the day in the darkroom tweaking chemistry to get the look I wanted. Now that I
have a digital camera, I'm trying to get that look with the optics, not the chemistry. This shot is from my K-30 using a
Pro Master loupe as a lens. It's the look I want, but because it is a loupe it magnifies. What I really want is to widen
the angle, the loupe is a 3.5X, which narrows the field too much. I need something wider. I bought an inexpensive
converter that widens it a bit, but it's simply not enough. I tried attaching a wide angle converter, but it still didn't
widen the view enough. I'd like something that captures something like a 28mm lens
on 35mm camera...but how? I can't use a standard wide angle lens because I want to maintain the very
shallow depth of field the loupe creates. Any help?

Thx

I haven't checked exposure compensation, that could be the problem. I've attached a sample photo take on the auto setting.

Thanks

I bought a K30 about a month ago, and I'm really struggling with getting a decent exposures. Even on the auto setting, the exposures are dark. I'm a first time DSLR owner, and find the number a features a bit overwhelming, so I'm assuming there's more on here than I'll need. But I need to have a setting that gets proper exposures, and the "auto" setting isn't it, or at least something needs to be adjusted for the "auto" setting to work properly. Multiple times I've gone to a public pool to photo my sons swim lessons, set it on "auto", and the images are 2 or 3 stops too dark. I'm forced to go to a manual setting, then I struggle with getting those settings to adjust to where I need them to get a good exposure. It would be really helpful if there were an online movie that demonstrated the features, but I haven't found one. I fully realize I'm lacking details on this post, but I'll follow the responses and hopefully get this resolved.

Thanks
