Thanks guys, I like doing Macro, so this lens has done a lot for me... I had the same one when I still worked with Canon and that's why it was the first thing I bought that was not in my combo box. I know there are better lenses, but being a student, I'm on a budget.

Hello everybody,
I have a Tamron 70-300mm for my K-30 body and I know that normally is an F4/5,6 lens. However last week I was fooling around with it and turned the aperture ring from A to 5,6 and after turning some wheels and pushing some buttons on the camera it indicated F1,2. I've been trying to get the same settings again ever since but it won't work anymore.
Some tips anybody?

Thanks. It just feels as if I'm the only Pentax user in Belgium sometimes, since everybody runs around with Canon and Nikon DSLR's

Hello everybody,
My name is Yorgo and I'm from Belgium. I used to be a Canon user before I went to university, but trying to become an archeologist required a strong camera. This camera was the Optio WG-1 and eversince I'm in love with Pentax. Last year I bought myself the K-30 with 18-55 and 50-200 lenses. Now I'm convinced that I will use Pentax for the rest of my life... But I'm always looking for new things, so if you have any recommendations, do not hesitate to pm me.
