Poll: How often do you have a tripod with you?

I'm amazed with my k50 how low a speed I can go hand held but if I want to be sertain of a pin sharp image I use the tripod. The one I use is about thirty year old no fancy bits on it but it's heavy and solid and that's all I need it stays in the boot of the car but if I leave the car the tripod goes in my hand it's a pain but at the end of the day what matters is a sharp shot.

I've bought the Pentax K50 about a month ago and have been shooting night shots on Tyne in Newcastle I was using ISO 3200 and my shots
Just needed a very small tweak in Lightroom to show no noise atall many people would have been happy without the ajustment . And that is with the 18-55 mm kit lens I have uploaded one onto the gallery.

Hi I'd just like to say first that I have never posted on any forum before. I am a member of EPZ and you would find my images under Johnlw on that site as well.
Back in the early 70s I had my first Pentax k1000 a totaly manual camera. When digital came along I whent over to canon bridge cameras largely due to cost however after a long time without a SLR I finally decided to go back to Pentax.
This week I have been out and purchased a Pentax K50.its a bit early to start posting images but I hope to in the near future.
I am a retired contract manager and thought I would have loads of time for my hobby :)But unfortunatly I find I still never have enough time. Anyway I am joining this site with the idea of getting some hints and tips and enjoy helping others.
Regards John.
