I have the Pentax flashes. Hands down for the power output, recycle time, battery life, functions and accessories I’d recommend the Godox V1. I shoot weddings for a living and have literally not used another flash since I purchased it. I’ve shoot 8 hour weddings with heavy flash use and I’m still yet to change the battery at an event.

9K for a camera with no auto focus. For that I will just switch my camera to MF. With my eyesight that is a big no go. When I shoot real estate and have time to use LV with focus peaking then manual focus is ok. I also use it when I shoot macro. When shooting with the OVF (which I hands down prefer), I use AF. I basically only use AF unless I have to use MF. With my age, the eyesight is poor enough my keeper rate without AF would be very depressing.

Merry Christmas to you all. It was a light year for me as far as gear purchases. I will say that by far my favorite and most useful purchase is my Godox V1 flash system.

You need to use a slower shutter speed to allow more ambient light in. If this is not an option, then I just raise the ISO and lower the flash output by the number of stops I increase the ISO by.

Well they can follow me home and attempt the same thing. I just hope they are willing to give their life to attempt to steal my gear. I'm a vet of 12 years. When I shoot I don't miss!

At only 8000 shutter count, that body is still a baby. The K5 is a great body. I have one and still use it. For half the price I'd rather have it than a K70 due to the fact it was a flagship model and should more durable than a K70.

I bought a new K50 and 3 used K30’s. I have sold the K30’s but still have the K50. It has over 30,000 shutter count and at lest one of my K30’s had over 30,000 shutter count. I have had zero failure out of all them. That being said, I used them pretty heavily and none of them sat around until the battery was dead. I hope you get some good use out of your camera!

Pentax DA Limited 70 f2.4. This lens is the last (for now) lens I feel I need to complete my kit!

My experience is that magnifier does not alter the diopter adjustment

I have bought from Map camera twice and was very pleased. Unlike others I have bought from Japanese sellers on several occasions and have found their grading to be very accurate, if not the item being better than what they are graded. I would not hesitate to buy from them.

I would not buy any more lenses. The ones you have are great portrait lenses.

I have this lens and it is a great lens but maybe not so much for your use. I'd say the 55-300 is your best choice.

This is technically true, but if your shoot stuff like weddings, events or even portraits, having the WB set correctly will save much time in post.

2 K-3's because they just feel right, have duel cards slots, have pretty good battery light and the mixed light white balance. That is why I'm patiently waiting for the K3 iii
2 K-30's because they have a great little sensor ,weather sealed and I had not had a K-3 yet

This was a shot I took on vacation earlier this month in Myrtle Beach, SC. I got lucky because the insects where I live had just about packed up shop and left for the year.

Hello I would love to have this manual as I have not had the lens very long and is my first true macro lens. What do I need to do?

Took this during a light shower of a Wisteria bud at my mothers house. It is relatively sharp for a kit lens.

This is from 2012, May not be my best photo of the decade, but it is by far my favorite.
